Advanced Scuba Camp

Comes join us this summer for four days of Scuba fun! Monday through Thursday! Prep for full certification!

 

The Advanced Scuba Camp is designed to be a fun experience for 10-15 year olds to experience the joys and wonders of Scuba Diving, but has the added benefit of counting as the confined water portion of a full Scuba Certification. If a student wishes to, after the Advanced Scuba camp, they can purchase the SSI online elearning for this SSI account to finish their needed Academics that started in the camp, and then sign up for one of our Open Water weekend classes, or recieve a referral form and get their Open Water dives done elsewhere and become completely Scuba Certified.

What To Do Before Class:

Every student will need to register and create a profile in their own SSI Account, and will need an email address unassociated with any other SSI account, in order to activate their profile. Click here to register, or copy and paste this link into your browser: https://my.divessi.com/register. It’s important to select “Deep Blue Scuba” as your training center, and make a note of your SSI Master ID (or MID). You will be prompted to enter this information at checkout. 

  1. Create a diver profile at:https://my.divessi.com/register- Ensure that “Deep Blue Scuba” is selected as the Training Center. 

  2. Upload a photo clearly showing your face so that we can complete your recognition at the end of the class.

  3. Print and complete the Diver Medical / Participant Questionnaire that will be onn your SSI account, which can be access either through the app or the website.

What to Expect In Class 

Scuba Explorers will have 4 different pool/classroom sessions to complete the initial camp experience: Monday through Thursday for 4 hour sessions each day, with a break for snacks/lunch each day. Lunch will be provided for those participating in the Advanced Scuba Camp

What To Bring To Class

  1. Swimsuit and towel. Mask, snorkel and fins will be provided, but those seeking to continue on for full certification should purchase their own. Compressed air tanks, regulators, and buoyancy compensator device (BCD) will be provided and are included in the cost of the class.

  2. Dry clothes to change into after class.

Price is $399.

Optional E-learning towards full certification is $130, and our open water class is $300 and can be discussed with the instructor.

Additional Information

Minimum Age: 10 years old

Swim Proficiency: Must be comfortable in the water, able to maintain buoyancy in water too deep to stand, and cross the short/cross length distance of the pool.

Academic Sessions: 4 sessions

Pool Dives: Pool / Confined Water only 

Maximum Training Depth: 12 feet

Suggested Duration:  16 hours
