The Advanced Open Water Diver course includes 5 boat dives done over 2 days, normally scheduled on Saturday and Sunday. Course normally meets at 8am on Saturday morning at K dock in Monterey Marina. Course starts with briefing on shore, then moving to do the Double Down dive boat for 3 open water dives. Dives focus on Buoyancy Skills, Navigation, and Search & Recovery skills.

Second day meets again at 8am for 2 more boat dives. First dive is a Deep Dive and the second dive will focus on skills for Diving from a Boat. 

Dry Suit Training is available as well. Check with your staff or instructor

The tuition includes instructor cost and Academic Materials.

There is an additional fee for use of the Diving Boat. The price for 5 dives off the boat is $250, paid directly to the boat captain.
